How do I install the UserZoom browser extension?

When you begin a recorded test, you'll need to download the UserZoom browser extension. This extension is a tool that allows you to record your test session and share your experience with customers.

The extension only works during your test. This means it can't access your data or record your screen after your test is over.

Setting up the extension

Google Chrome

1. When you start a test that requires the extension, an automatic prompt to install the extension will appear.
2. Follow this prompt to visit the UserZoom Surveys Chrome store page.
3. Click Add to Chrome.
4. Once you've installed the extension, you’ll receive a confirmation pop-up letting you know the setup is complete. Now you're ready to start your test!  

You can also visit the Chrome store page to install the extension before your test.

Mozilla Firefox

1. When you start a test that requires the extension, an automatic prompt to install the extension will appear.
2. Click Allow in the prompt, and then click Add.
3. Once you've installed the extension, you’ll receive a confirmation pop-up letting you know that the setup is complete. Now you're ready to start the test!  

You can also install the extension before you start your test.
