Before you can qualify for tests that require you to speak your thoughts out loud, you’ll need to pass a short practice session. Passing this session confirms that your device is set up correctly and that you can comfortably talk through your thoughts while completing tasks.
Why it matters: Until you pass, you’ll only receive survey opportunities or other tests that don’t require thinking out loud. Passing your practice session unlocks a wider variety of opportunities, including higher-paying tests.

Tips to help you succeed
Give yourself 10 minutes.
Complete the session in one sitting. You can’t pause or restart later, so make sure you’re ready before you begin.
Find a quiet, distraction-free space.
Turn off notifications, silence your phone, and minimize background noise.
Check your microphone.

Allow recording permissions.
Carefully follow the prompts to grant access to your screen and microphone. If we can’t see your screen or hear your voice, we can't approve your session.
Get into the mindset.
Treat the scenario as if you’re genuinely trying to complete the tasks on your own. This approach can help make things feel a little less awkward.
Speak your thoughts out loud.
