Getting ready for your Live Conversation? Here are a few simple tips to help you feel confident and prepared.
Before you begin
Review your confirmation email or invitation
Check the date, time, and device requirements
Add the session to your calendar so you don’t forget
If your plans change
If something comes up, try to update your session as soon as possible. Making changes early helps the customer plan and gives someone else the chance to participate.
Aim to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance
You can make changes up to 10 minutes before the start time
Right before you join
Set yourself up for a smooth start:
Find a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted
Close extra tabs or apps
Check your microphone, camera, and internet connection
Be ready to turn on your camera
Plan to join about 10 minutes early, so you have time to get set up.
During your session
There are no right or wrong answers - just honest ones. Your honest feedback helps customers understand what’s working and what could be improved.
Here are a few tips to guide you:
Think out loud as you go
Share what feels confusing or unclear
Explain why you like or don’t like something
Take your time and don’t rush
