If you’re using a mobile device for a Live Conversation and can’t share your screen in Zoom, you can usually fix it in a few steps.

- Allowed any camera or microphone permissions when prompted

Fix screen sharing on an iPhone or iPad
Screen sharing on iOS uses Screen Broadcast, and it must be allowed when prompted.
Step 1: Start screen sharing in Zoom

Find the Start share option in your toolbar. You may need to select More to find this option.

Select Share screen.

Select Start Broadcast and then tap anywhere on the screen to exit this view.

You should now be sharing your screen. Make sure Share device audio is turned on so the customer can hear you.
Step 2: Check your Zoom permissions
If screen sharing doesn’t start, check your app permissions for Zoom in Settings > Apps > Zoom

Confirm these permissions are turned on:
- Microphone
- Camera
Fix screen sharing on Android
Screen sharing on Android requires allowing screen recording and app permissions when prompted.
Step 1: Start screen sharing in Zoom
- Select Share.
- Select Screen.
- If you see a recording or casting prompt, select Start now to begin screen sharing.
- If Zoom asks for camera or microphone access, select While using the app.
- You should now be sharing your screen. Look for the green border around your screen to confirm.
Step 2: Check your app permissions
If screen sharing starts and then immediately stops, Zoom may not have permission to display over other apps. Check your app permissions for Zoom in Settings > Apps > Zoom > Permissions

Confirm these permissions are turned on in Settings > Apps > Zoom > Permissions
- Microphone
- Camera
Step 3: Turn on display over other apps
If screen sharing closes right away, allow Zoom to display over other apps.
- Open Settings.
- Select Apps.
- Select Zoom.
- Select Display over other apps.
- Toggle Display over other apps on.
